I really hated Herc more than almost anyone on that show, Sobotkas notwithstanding.

 

I doubt anyone really liked Herc all that much.

 

They've got Stringer on the East side and Avon in the Port, and neither of the B&B boys in West Baltimore. For shame. And agreed, Carver's absence is an Internet Travesty. Part of me wonders if he was left out just for the joke about deserving teams not making the tourney.

I'll totally still play, of course. From the looks of the bracket Omar's got an easier road to the finals than almost anyone. The McNulty/Daniels first round battle breaks my heart.

 

Yeah, that is pretty awful. No Carver but you have both Serge and Cheese?

I notice none of the newspaper characters made the cut. Not they should've, given the weakness of that storyline compared to the rest of it, but I would trade Cheese or Herc or Cheese for Gus.

 

I hated Cheese. Herc was so stupid he was funny.

The newspaper ME and editor were classic in their arrogant ineptitude, though.

 

Gus and Carver should've been in there.

Also, I thought Namond got snubbed, maybe even Randy.

Good to see Wallace make it, however.

 

I'd have Slim Charles as, at least, a 4 seed. Yet, he's nowhere to be found.

 

Holy shit, didn't notice he wasn't in there either.

 

Simmons tweeted that Slim Charles won the NIT.

 

He earned that for shooting Cheese.
