Kanye leads the Grammy nominations with seven; the guy at Grantland is pissed that he didn't get an eighth for Album of the Year.

Myself, as long as "Pumped Up Kicks" get its due, I'll be happy.

Rolling in the Deep will clean up, as well it should.

Thrilled to see Bon Iver get some love.

    Interesting column blasting the choices:

Why, it's a Kanye West fan who believes his artist is underappreciated.

    There's a new one. ;)

Adele will win everything she is nominated for.

Nicki Minaj will win best new artist.

Might be some "Pumped Up Kicks" backlash since it is about shooting up a school. Hopefully that doesn't let the shitty "Moves Like Jagger song win.

No problem if Adele sweeps. I thought both of the big songs were tremendous.

This thread, and the others like it, make me realize how far away from music I've traveled. I've heard one of the albums nominated in any of the album categories. I've heard of two of the best new artists. I've only heard three of the song of the year nominees.

I'm just out of the loop. And I don't really care. :)

I was surprise to see Skrillex get nominated for best new artist. Not that he doesn't deserve it.

Very glad to see White Limo get some love. Maybe my favorite off the Foo album.

I listened to Skrillex yesterday to learn what he was all about. Now I know what a strobe light would sound like.

    Mumfords in Rock Performance?

While they do rock, I don't think that's the right category for their music.

Only album I have heard in any of them is Watch The Throne.

    And I love it.
