    No guarantee those hires would have been made in the U.S.

    Of course there isn't. Not to mention, the foreign corporations' profits go overseas.

    I was completely against the bailouts when Bush enacted them and doubly so when Obama extended them.

    However, I'm not one to root for GM to fail so that I, or my favored politicians, can be "right." I'm quite happy to be wrong on this one and I give both Bush and Obama credit for swallowing a tough pill and getting it right.
