IJAG just punched a wall and doesn't know why. (OK, OK ... so did I. 8))

On a serious note, it was stupid that they enacted a cell phone ban last year ... and forgot to include texting.

I was going to say, I've never even been to California!!

I do hate now living in a hands-free state though. Headsets are annoying and I feel like a douche wearing one. I just use my phone 80 percent of the time.

My girlfriend said I look like a yuppie wearing one. I think they should ban idiots who don't know how to text and drive instead.

    Way to go, California.

Drive your frackin' car. If the phone message is important, you can pull over and check it without endangering yourself, me, people I care about, or anyone else.

Enjoy driving without your radio, then, Piotr. It takes my eyes off the road less to text than to change radio stations.

  8. I don't get these laws. Driving while doing something else is already illegal everywhere. Cops should have no problem nailing people who are doing something unsafe.

Your car sucks because it doesn't have the snazzy radio controls on the wheel.

    Mine does not suck.

Cell phones were banned but that doesn't include texting? What are people texting with nowadays?
