For as long as I can remember, this shit has never made sense to me. Someone snorts a line when he or she is 20. What the fuck does that have to do with how they can govern when they are 50?

 

I agree with that, but you know that's always how it goes.
Any mistake anybody has ever made is going to be used against someone running for or in office.
