Admittedly, I don't watch a lot of college basketball, but I noticed almost all of the Kentucky coaching staff was wearing running shoes on the bench during the Florida game. I think Billy Donovan had on the standard dress shoes. Later, I saw art from the Georgia-South Carolina game and Dennis Felton was wearing them, too. I'm no fashion critic, but given that these guys are all usually quite dapper, the running shoes looked pretty strange. What gives? Is this some sort of Black History Month tribute or something?

As mentioned on the college hoops thread, it was a Coaches vs. Cancer awareness thing. Coaches all over the country wore sneakers today.

Coaches vs. Cancer nationwide today ... I didn't know, either, until Cosmo and DOH told me on the college hoops thread.
