Can't similar things be said about the right? I mean, didn't these guys vehemently deny that Iraq was a threat? Weren't they so convinced that Saddam was an OK guy that they sold him weapons? I sure seem to remember something about that.

 

Yeah, they sold him weapons long before he killed a bunch of his people. In the end we know that both Iraq under Saddam and Iran since the Ayatollah came back are both enemies of ours. The only difference is that the left is now acting like Iraq under Saddam was not an enemy of ours in 2003. And why? For political gain against our country's interests.

 

So Saddam wasn't gassing the Kurds in the northern part of Iraq back in the '80s? Are you woefully ignorant of history, or only when it suits your needs?

I saw this today on Rush & Drudge.

Granted, it is a bit cheap & from back in the day.

However, it does point out a lot of serious hypocrisy and just how lame the whole political arena can get sometimes.
