Looks like the man who abolished the Vandy athletic department is heading back to OSU.

Does Bernie Machen at Florida now look to head back to his alma mater?

Attention! Gordon Gee and I are NOT related. We determined this at a chat at the 1990 Orange Bowl, when Gee was a college president presiding over that paragon of athletic virtue, Bill McCartney's Colorado program.

 

My uncle in Nashville dropped the F-bomb when I mentioned this to him a few minutes ago.

Gee had apparently given persistent talk of going to Columbus the Saban treatment about three weeks ago.
