I find the continued reference to the question being from a "Clinton plant" an odd statement.

Honestly, does anyone really think that someone supporting Clinton is not deserving of asking a question to the Republicans?

It is highly unlikely that I would vote for any of the Republicans on the ticket as I find them all to be rather scummy, but that doesn't mean I don't have a right to ask them a question or that my question should be removed from the pool of questions. I'm a citizen, and so is the General, if I want to ask one of the Republicans how they feel about something, I damn well am entitled to it.

CNN already is saying it should have identified the man as a Clinton campaign staffer (any doubts, see this link, scroll down, and Gen. Kerr's name is there -- http://campaignsandelections.com/ia/releases/?id=6514). There was nothing wrong with the question, but it needed to be put in the proper context: that a Clinton plant was asking it.

After last week's planted question, anyone wondering about the Nixon-like attempts on the part of Hil to control the media?

    Hondo, two things:
    1. Which campaign doesn't have planted questions? Did you already forget about Bush, while president, being asked questions from a plant who was also doing gay porn?

    2. While it could be noted that the guy was a Clinton plant, I think that it would have been poor. The answers would have become comments about Clinton and the person linked with Clinton instead of actually addressing the question that was asked.

And the GOP doesn't do the same thing?

  5. Somehow, the fact that the tax question was asked by an obscure Republican operative named GROVER NORQUIST also eluded CNN's crack vetting team.
"Nixonlike" attempts to control the media?
She talked about killing -- c.f. Jack Anderson -- any of them yet? (No, the evidence developed bythe voices in Hannity's head doesn't count.) She seems to be running her press operation pretty much like every NFL team does.

Proper context? Like that he wasn't a staffer? Yup.

So, GOP mind control central would have us believe that Obama is a secret Muslim and that Clinton is secretly puppetmastering the entire election. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Consider the source.

    It is to laugh.

Ol' Grover's about as obscure as Paris Hilton.

In an email from a friend of mine...

"At what point to they just bring a Mexican on stage and shoot her?"

I believe they were already planning that for the debate which will be held on the Fox "News" Channel. Also, they won't use a woman. They will find a fat, ugly male for the task. Fat, ugly men are less sympathetic figures.

    Not among Republicans.

  11. Just out of curiosity, how many times did the sounds, "George," "W" and "Bush" come out last night, in any order?
Do you think they'll even tell him where the convention is?

Quote you're sure to hear soon:

"Soon after it happened, I turned to Bernie Kerik, and I said, 'Thank God Rudy Giuliani is fucking his mistress in the Hamptons.'"
