Google/Verizon to ruin Internet

    What's Google's motivation to hand more money over? It's not as if the company needs to give money away. I still don't get how providing search results and YouTube clips just a little faster helps.

    I can see the mobile part because there isn't net neutrality on mobile networks.

    I don't see a problem with Verizon doing this if they leave the Internet alone. if we get the Internet speeds we pay for, other companies can develop products. Verizon and other providers can start their own networks since they already have a pipe into customers' homes.
