    Uh, to the contrary, I think Google is so accomplished at selling advertising – that's how they made that enormous pile of cash they're sitting on, after all – that they're flexing their muscles.

    Not sure if the story mentions it, but they're also starting to sell radio advertising. TV will be next.

    So Google buys the ad space, then resells it to a consortium of smaller advertisers? BRILLIANT!
