Los Angeles needs an NFL team like Paris Hilton needs another 15 minutes of fame.

Put an NFL team in, for the sake of argument, Pasadena or the Dodger Stadium area.

Put a Division One Mexican soccer league team in Los Angeles (just like Toronto is in a league with 29 US franchises).

Both teams are no better than .500 for the first two years.

In year 3, the LA team in the Mexican soccer league would draw about the same as an NFL team.

That is the problem. The NFL needs southern California more than southern California needs the NFL.

I'm interested in reading in, because I want to read about a state that is finally telling a league that wants it to build a taxpayer-funded stadium to shove it.
