    Any parental campaign has to be taken with a grain of salt, much like stolen base totals get inflated when the scorer doesn't know the difference between an SB, passed ball, wild pitch or error. I recall one parent sending me a spread sheet on his spawn's water polo stats, pitching him as the all-County MVP. Like in the OP, though, the team was winless in league and the kid had missed a few games. He was good enough to make the team, but MVP went elsewhere.

    Although it's been said, many ways, take a look for yourself.
