No, what I can't wait for is what happened either last year or 2005; when they played their first series and some member of the ny/neSportsJournalists.com came on here and jizzed about how it was a classic baseball series, maybe the best of all time, and the rest of us should be lucky to have lived it...

    A freakin April four-game set....

And I just want to watch the Tigers on opening day. I dont give a shit if they are on the other 161 games. This one I want to watch.

That's how big it is. So that's six straight losses for the Sox at Kauffman Stadium. I'm loving this streak.

So are the last-place Red Sox thanking the Royals, who are at the top of the AL Central, for getting them on ESPN?

I think the Royals will go 162-0 this year.

Get real, KC will lose at least 20-25 games this year.

They have a better chance of going 162-0 than the Red Sox do. And just think ... the Sawx could have had Gil Meche.

Totally. Season is over for the Sox.

Gil Meche for Cy Young. That is all.

Also, Alex Gordon's first at-bat was one for the ages, even if he struck out. Amped up crowd, 40K strong, and the kid comes to the plate with the bases loaded. He struck out, but that was the most electric atmosphere I've experienced at KC in ages.

    That was a fantastic at-bat.
