Formula One racing is headed to the Speed Channel in 2007 with 13 events annually thru 2009. Additionally, four events will air on Fox Sports Channel each year for the next two years. The on-air crew for both will include Bob Varsha, David Hobbs, Steve Matchett and Peter Windsor.

I thought this was going to be a Bernie Ecclestone RIP (or rip) thread...
    Never mind

At least we get the real announcing crew, not the dopes from CBS. If they would just broadcast in HD.

Wasn't most of it already on Speed?
And David Hobbs was on CBS.

    But not with Varsha.

Am I the only one who remembers when Ecclestone forced The Worldwide Leader to fire Hobbs for being too critical of the sanctioning body?

Greatest announcing crew no one knows about.

Does this mean Derek Daly will never see the F-1 light of day? Please make it so!

Hobbs wasn't part of the CBS F1 announce team. Hobbs does the races on Speed.
