Our 10:20 p.m. arrival was actually 1:30 a.m. Got to our hotel at 2:30 and no one wanted to party anymore.

Anyway, big plans for all today. We're catching up this a.m. with some folks for a day of the shopping places, the Market, Pioneer Square, etc. The Queen grabbed a brochure in the lobby that told her Pioneer Square had TWO bookstores, so she's all jacked about that. Our favorite shoe store - www.fluevog.com - has a place here.

Class AAA ballgame tonight between the Nats and Mariners, though in what looks like a great major league stadium. We passed by Safeco and Qwest on the way to the hotel.

We're not at the team hotel. We have some massive suite, two huge rooms and a kitchen with a view of the bay.

So if I catch a flight today, you and the Queen have a spare room for me?

Never mind. I don't have $700 to put on a flight.

Yeah, otherwise, it'd be a go with Moddy. ::)

    I'm tired.

I land around 2:30, will be at the hotel by 4. I'll be the guy wearing the jersey of the American League pitcher for whom the Cy Young will be renamed in six years.

Oh, and I still have Patchs' name tag.

I didn't think the blue font was needed. Apparently, I was wrong.

I'm like a freaking kid at Christmas, ready to hit this town. I'm sure I'll feel tired later but right now *** maybe it's the coffee.

The Queen is not quite ready. She doesn't rally quite as well.

    I'm feeling virtuous this morning.

After crapping out early last night, I worked out first thing. About damn time.

I'm told we actually have a view of the Sound, even though it is called a bay view room.
    Whatever, it sure looks nice.
