Anyone have any suggestions for good journalism grad programs in NYC proper or Boston? Thanks in advance.

    Columbia.
    NYU.
CUNY just recently launched a journalism masters program, I believe.
In Boston, I'm pretty sure BU has a masters in journalism. But that may be the only one.

Nationally, Mizzou, Northwestern, Maryland. I know people who've liked all three.

BU has a few good programs, and it's affordable, which none of the Boston schools are.

Virginia, Chicago and Duke are the best grad programs in the U.S.

BU affordable? Are you out of your mind? Undergrad is close to 40K/year, and I don't foresee grad being much cheaper.

    Compare that to Boston College.

Or Mount Holyoke. I won't even mention Harvard.

    Relatively, it is affordable.

It's just not going to be cheap to go to school in that city.
