I don't blame SoSueMe. I don't think he's an attention whore. He was pretty damn close to being outed (according to his original post) and people deserve an explanation to his disappearance.

This place baffles me sometimes. It's supposed to be a community, but when a regular member of the community has to "leave" and feels compelled to tell people, as most anyone would do in real life, he gets shit on.

I'm not opposed to threads like this. But to say anyone on SportsJournalists.com "deserves" an explanation for coming or going is a bit much.
