Golden Domers to play at New Yankee Stadium?

Just reported on ESPN Sportscenter, haven't found a link yet... looking now.

ESPN reports no dates have been discussed, but Army has been discussed as a possible opponent. As a fan of the history of the game, I think it's a really cool idea.

They must not know that it's only news if it's reported along the upper East Coast. ;D

I guess Bristol, Conn., is close enough to count, though. It's like a John Elway bomb away.

 

Is UConn also a possibility? They won't play all 10 games in South Bend and I think Boston and the Meadowlands has already been talked about. Yankee Stadium would be a much better move imho.

If Notre Dame loses this contest will it be in the media guide?

 

I think New Yorkers should protest Notre Dame using Yankee Stadium.

 

Can they even convert it to a football field? Doesn't seem like they have a lot of extra room there.
