Go Team Venture — An appreciation

I know I'm not the only nerd watching the Venture Brothers, but I haven't seen a thread in awhile.
I don't know who saw Sunday's episode or if you watched it online, but I don't think I have ever laughed that hard.
A small smattering of the lines:
"You think you're all hardcore, but you're really Dave Matthews."
"My father died before he taught me to care."
"Killing Blaculas with a sword is cool, but you know what else is cool? Safety."
"Aren't you afraid that your cupcakes will fall out?"

Then the thing with Sgt. Hatred and how couldn't be around "sexy" kids.
Funny and disturbing.
Also Venture Brothers might be the best thing on TV right now.

I was trying to watch it online on Saturday and for some reason it went haywire during the second stint. I'll go back and try again, because this season has been tremendous.

Of course, we still don't know what the cliffhanger "WHAT!" from the Monarch at the end of season two was about yet.....

I watched the episode Sunday evening, before it aired, and it seemed fine.

 

Doing so right now. I really want to date Triana, since I'm completely like Dean.

 

Ok, those were all really good, but "Are you sure he's my real dad?" at the end got me completely.

 

I loved Brock getting flustered by being heckled, then trying to use the Moppits to put a hit out on the kid. The episodes where they put them in those "normal" situations always have me busting a gut. Best epsiode all-time, to me, was the tag sale back in Season 1.

 

Yeah, I'm bumping a year-old thread.

You know why? Season four starts this Sunday at Midnight.

This season, at least from the trailer, seems to go off in such a different direction. I cannot wait to see how it's going to progress from here.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I just got cable for the first time since June and I didn't know if I'd missed anything.

I so love this show. I watch the DVDs all the time, probably more than anything else I own -- with the possible exception of my Frisky Dingo DVDs.
