Is there a staute of limitations on statutory rape?
And who is going to prove it 15 years later?

Agree it goes to credibility...although it's possible to be a complete sleaze and still be defamed. ('My client, Mr Clemens has unfairly been called a lying, cheating, drug-using, philandering fraud! And I am here to tell you, he is not a philanderer!')

They're going to have to prove it was a sexual affair, so that should be fun to watch.

There is a statute of limitations, is varies from state to state...and the age difference between the two individuals can determine whether it's a felony or a misdemeanor.

Again, given her current attempt to resurrect her career, she might not be the most credible witness.

Dammit, when I saw DD had posted I hoped he had succeeded where I had failed: finding a pic of Fozzie giving the thumbs up.

Well, if McCready confirms the story on the stand, that would be enough proof that Clemens committed statutory rape.

Here are links with Tennessee's statute of limitations: http://www.statuteoflimitations.net/tennessee_statute_of_limitations.htm

It seems the state could prosecute Clemens.

You're kidding, right? Enough proof for whom?
