    I think Maddux is a first-ballot. Glavine is either a first- or second-ballot. Smoltz, for some reason, I see getting there in his third year.

    Glavine gave up his first (and only) grand slam to Jose Vidro in 2003 with the Mets, somewhere around the 3,500-inning mark. But he never gave one up as a Brave (though that could change this year).

    Palmer retired with 3,948 without giving up a granny, so he still holds the career mark.
