Just read Olney's blog today about the possibility of the Atlanta Three retiring in the same year. If they did that this year, they'd almost certainly be part of the Class of '13. But what happens if one or two of them decide to play a little longer? Would the BBWAA vote each of them in as they become eligible, or would they intentionally keep a guy out until all three can be voted in at the same time? Thoughts?

Lord, I hope they'd vote on the merits and not when someone else is going in - if they deserve to be in, vote them in.

My thinking is that since the three of them were so successful together for so long, that it would be a nice touch if all three of them were on the stage together. That's all.

That might be the only ignominy by putz sportswriters that could eclipse the NFL disaster early this month.

It would be nice but you can't force it. Has to just happen.

Not a worry in my mind. All three are getting in.

Maddux and Glavine HAVE to be first-ballot. End of discussion.

    Who cares when they're elected?

Maybe we can create a poll, though, to find out?

    Tom Glavine's line:

    1/3 IP, 5 hits, 7 runs (earned) 2 walks, 1 HBP
And a who gives a fuck attitude about it.

    FUCK TOM GLAVINE!

All three of those going in while Jack Morris doesn;t would be a bullshit call by the BBWAA

Smoltz may deserve the HOF, but not if Jack Morris isn't there. Tommy John and Bert Blyleven are as deserving as Smoltz

How Blyleven and Lee Smith are still out stupifies me.
