You guys can fight to the death for those. I've got dibs on the one cookie that may give this asshat a shred of credibility, because they're as addicting as crack.

    Trefoils.

So YOU'RE the person who orders Trefoils.

    I am, yes.

Shortbread cookies = my confectionary weakness.

Trefoils are indeed tasty and of course Thin Mints reign supreme (and are the only variety of GS Cookie that's consistent across the US, as GSUSA owns the rights to the name) but Samoas are yuk (not a coconut fan) and WHY IS THERE NO LOVE FOR TAGALONGS?

Are trefoils the GS version of Lorna Doones?

    Tagalongs > Thin Mints.

    Yep.

I am a rare case in that I don't like Thin Mints (never liked the chocolate and mint combo) and I always liked Samoas. When I bought my yearly box, they were out of Samoas so I got the Trefoils.

I am convinced that when I get to that great gig in the sky, St. Pete will be handing me Trefoils as my reward for a virtuous life well-lived. ;)

Versatile's Girl Scouts cookies power rankings:

    1. Samoas / Caramel deLites
    2. Tagalongs / Peanut Butter Patties
    3. Thin Mints
    4. Dulces de Leche
    5. Do-Si-Dos / Peanut Butter Sandwiches
    6. Trefoils / Shortbread
    7. Lemonades
    8. Thanks-A-Lots

I've never had or don't remember Shout Outs!, Thank U Berry Munchs or Lemon Chalet Cremes.

I think the Thank You Berry Much are new. We got a box this year (one of 7 all together). It's ok. It does have real cranberries in it. Worth a try, but not better than thin mints and certainly not better than Samoasa.

The Lemon Drops are pretty good. Don't know if they've been around for a while, but this is the first time I've tried them yum-o.

That Morris invokes Henry Ford - one of the 20th century's most notorious anti-Semites - to illustrate his own Christian paranoia is a comic gem.
