And ever since the initial incident happened, there has been a shitstorm in all of the British tabloids, especially the Daily Express, over this.

I just got my latest edition of Private Eye from back home, and in it there is a running baseline of Express covers, beginning on July 31. 14 different fronts with the latest theory. They say she's been seen in Belgium, accuse three different people and say the police are 'hours away from the solution'.

That last one was over two weeks ago. It's been a perfect display of how crappy British journalism can be.

 

Yeah, it's a huge story in Britain/Europe.

 

Huge is one way to put it.

Completely overblown and becoming a bigger sideshow every day is another.
