Name me one high school administrator who can stop or punish every instance of name-calling in school. Impossible. If this girl is courageous enough to go to the prom with a female date, she should be able to handle any fall-out. I never said calling her a dyke would be right. It's absolutely wrong. But we're talking kids here. They're going to abuse other kids and every teacher and principal can't be there to stop it.

So you think the girl would be completely unaware that by wearing a tux and taking another girl to the prom that she might become a target of school bigots, bullies and assholes? Gosh, good thing school administrators are so on the ball.
