    You leave out Earnhardt? Really? I hated his ass as a fan and NASCAR writer, but I acknowledge the talent.
    Pearson is really 1b. He ran three full seasons and won three championships. His win percentage/total will never be touched.
    Petty was the Jimmie Johnson of his day thanks to money, but I recognize the 200 wins. I say that even though I have a picture of him holding a young Driftwood in his arms.
    Stewart would make my list of race car drivers, but not strictly NASCAR. He can drive. He's a doucher.
    Allison was hard for me to leave off just because I like the guy.

    Cannot stand Earnhardt ... to say I dislike him is being kind.

    If anyone were allowed to be a hammer on the track as much as he was, our win totals would have been better, too. The number of drivers he knocked off the track - and usually got away with - was ludicrous. Then he has the nerve to whine when Ricky Rudd did it to him once?

    GTFOOH. Not at all impressed.
