Gil LeBreton's slightly racist Charlie Strong metaphor

    Charlie Strong is a helluva coach. But he absolutely must, without complaining, glad-hand with boosters and appear on the Longhorn Network a reasonable amount. After all, isn't the LN one of the reasons his salary is so large?

    Oh, I have no doubt that all the major coaches at Texas --- starting with football --- have a lot of contractual commitments to the Longhorn Network. Why the heck else would people watch it? I don't have it and I can get plenty of Texas football/men's basketball games on the other stations I do have.
