Pretty funny story in NY Post on Giants Super Bowl ring. It appears that they are not getting what they thought.

Story has a Roger and Me quality to it.

Meh. Unless the rings have spy cameras installed in them, this isn't really a big deal (although I agree...it is funny...especially the company's refusal to discuss anything about them).

That is what I thought was funny as well - I can only imagine look of panic on the poor receptionists face who took the call from Post reporter.

Can't imagine the Giants are that happy either now that they find out that Tiffany is not really making the ring.

    Duped?

What an utter non-story and waste of paper and bandwidth.

There are trimes when Simon is spot on.

I'm willing to bet this copmpany makes thousands of pieces for Tiffany in the course of a year. No big deal here ...

    except to one assclown.

C'mon, spnited, aren't you beyond the demographic to be using 'assclown'?

did you mean "times" and not "trimes" ?

I think Paul is a good writer and that you are wrong to label him an "ass clown"

Why is it not a worthy story given the big splash that Tiffany made last week in announcing that "they" were making The Giants ring.

I'd say it was good work on Paul's part and "Post" worthy.

I'm guessing spnited actually meant to type 'triremes,' as illustrated here:

Well he is ancient so it's possible. More likely that he had "trim" on the brain as in not getting any.

Ha. Compare my typo to Boob's inability to spell c-a-t.

At least Boob is good for a laugh.

Apparently Boom has never heard of "contracting out".

    Idiotic story.

And Boom is the absolute last person to correct ANYBODY'S spelling.

If I went to my jeweler and asked him to make me a piece of custom jewelry, I'd sure as hell want to know if he wasn't producing it in his own shop. When you buy jewelry, you're buying the quality--quality of stones, workmanship, etc. You spend that much money on a ring, you should know who's making it.
