Giants begin purge: Cut Petitgout, Arrington, and Emmons

How much will Sir Tiki save them on the cap next year?

 

This is going to be a very, very bad team next year.

 

I wonder if Lavar really thought that he would get the full 49 mil that he signed for. He ended up about 44 mil short.

 

It's only $2.9 million, and combined with the cuts of Emmons and Petitgout, they save $1.6 million. With the cut of Chad Morton yesterday, and Tiki's retirement (scheduled to make $5 million) they are $20 million under the cap.

 

I think they should also gas Michael Stahan while their at it.
