Getting into hockey

    Ugh. I wouldn't have wanted to work that game, but as a fan it was wonderful.

    Just caught a 1985 Oilers-Canucks game (game where Paul Coffey broke Bobby Orr's single season record for goals scored by a defenseman) and I was amazed at how much room the players had to skate. Forwards and defensemen were able to carry the puck through the defensive zone into center/centre ice with ease.

    Not sure, but I know they relaxed licensing laws since I moved over here.

    Little Ball of Hate = Minuscule Sphere of Animosity, as a friend calls him.

    Don't forget the college game. Some good stuff going on at that level, too.
