I was going to make a gay reference to Crosby, something along the lines of "Sidney Crosby is dreamy," but decided against it.

It was a good plan not to make that post, CU. Especially if you plan on surviving Seattle outing. :D

I don't even plan on going, so it should work out in my favor pretty well.

At first I thought I had to work that weekend, but now I can safely say it's out of a lack of interest.

Maybe now is the time to rehash the bad and ugly side of hockey:

    Brashear and McSorley
    Moore and Bertuzzi
soon to be Avery and Tucker ;D

Game 7 of the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals is on the NHL Network.

Hella question ... the guy wants to hear positive things to watch in the NHL and she dredges about this crap?

Those of us who were there working the entire game didn't enjoy it quite as much. We were on the air, including the postgame show for Philadelphia, until 3:16 AM local time, and we didn't leave the arena until 5:30. But it was a lucrative night for the TV crew, some of whom turned in 19.5 hours on their timesheets.

You, at least, got to go out drinking during a couple of the overtime periods.

Nope, back then all our pubs closed at 11 p.m.

I definitely sympathise with having to work such a game though, especially for TV.
