Here is a neat promotional thing a film I am involved with is doing.

The director is looking to get some DVDs preordered to help with promotional cost on the indie action/revenge film ONE LONG DAY. (www.OneLongDay.com)

If you are one of the first 100 people to preorder the DVD, you will get a "Special Thanks" in the end credits.

The credit will also appear on IMDb:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1283930/

The film is set to have its world premiere at a Las Vegas casino in December. Its at that point the DVDs will be shipped out.

Not only that, the film is going to be entered in festivals and will hopefully been seen by quite a few people and possibly distributed.

This a great opportunity to get your name seen by thousands and maybe millions.

Also, this is not limited to names, your crew, a business, a website, your band, newspaper, fantasy football team, or whatever can all get thanked. Just one "special thanks" per DVD order though.

To place your order, visit here:

The director is also looking to swap trailers with indie filmmakers. Hit me up at CCF@PollyStaffle.com if you are interested.

Makes sense ... this is the same guy who was pimping Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors a while back.

Filmed in 28 days? A $3,000 budget? Sounds awfully Troma-esque.

Please. These guys would give a festering arm and leg for the style or cult cache of a Troma film.

True. It takes some doing to live up to the reputation of "Surf Nazis Must Die" and "Redneck Zombies."
