Get on your bad motorscooter and ride

After the Holidays followed by 11 consecutive days below freezing, it was in the low 60s yesterday and today ... both of which I took full advantage of to get on my bike and just cruise.

Anyone who rides understands that a motorcycle, a sunny day and nowhere particular place to go is good for what ails ya.

Here's hoping how soon spring gets here and it's riding weather every day.

Dude, it has been killing me. I had some other things to do today and wasn't able to get out. And it starts raining tomorrow. Grrrgggghhhh!!

Yeah, it's supposed to start raining here tonight and keep it up for the next 4-5 days then back to highs in the low 40s.

And I thought this thread was about my all-time favorite openly gay man.

    Sammy Hagar!!????
He's not gay. (that I know of)
If you're thinking Freddie Mercury, the line would have been "Take a long ride on my motorbike."

I thought this thread was about the episode of Repo I saw tonight on TV.

The bad-ass, bald dude repo'd an Italian motor scooter and, well, scooted off on it.

I thought this thread was about Pontiac.
I loved those "We Build Excitement" ads in the 1980s with the "Get on your Pontiac and ride" line. Even if some of the cars didn't exactly exemplify excitement.

We've had a similar spell of unseasonably nice weather but I didn't get a chance to get the bike out -- really wish I did. Did get the cars washed for the first time in months, though.

Have the album on 8 track. How old am I?

    Apparently, damn old. ;D

Now that I think about it, I'm stunned that anyone still has an 8 track of anything. You ought to contact the Smithsonian to see if they want to display it.

I've got the vinyl. So I'm old, too. But, I can still rock...
