    How far north do I have to go to see the Northern Lights?

    I only get the green here. Edmonton gets 'em all. Winnipeg, too. But you have to go to Edmonton or Winnipeg.

    Fuck Manitoba. Alberta, too. It's Ontario or B.C. for me.

    EDIT: I'm also fond of Nova Scotia.

    UTshooter - I'd say the 75th parallel should do it (providing weather conditions comply)

    NEW QUESTION: Why do they rotate referee crews for each NBA playoff game instead of using the same crew for the whole series?

    I've seen them in Indiana and I saw them numerous times when I lived in northern Wisconsin. It just depends on whether conditions are right.

    As for the UP, they're really Wisconsin folk at heart.

    Why can't you see them in Washington or Idaho? Those states are farther north than Indiana.

    You can see them in Montana near Glacier in the winter when the nights are super clear.
