General Electric enjoys HUGE profits, pays little tax

    All of those profits were offset by tax losses from recent years. It's not like they had some kind of secret tax-avoision formula.

    This was news, what, last month? Two weeks ago? It's been out there for a while though.

    Doesn't make it any less outrageous though.

    They just released the profit report. Added a penny to the dividend its shareholders receive.
