    I recently picked up a copy of "Pond Scum and Vultures" at the used book store for $5...fun read.

    Known him since he was covering high schools. Great guy, great writer.

    I remember reading him as a junior high and high schooler when he was at the L.A. Times and he was one of my favorites. Still is.

    Wojo's one of my favorites in this business... A class act who has incredible stories to tell...

    Pond Scum and Vultures is a must-read for anybody in this business...

    I'll second that. Moreover, I'd say anybody who wants to be in this business should read it first.
