Gatlin works out for Texans

    What about college players caught doping or on dope or whatever who enter the NFL? I would think Gatlin would be treated the same. With a clean slate but probably with some sort of NFL-mandated counseling. I don't know how the league handles these cases.

    Well, there is the case of Luis Castillo, now of the Chargers. He tested positive for Andro at the combine in 2005, but San Diego selected him with the 28th pick of the draft.

    He didn't miss a game in his rookie season and didn't serve a suspension despite the positive test. At the time he tested positive he said the steroid use was to help speed up the recovery of an elbow injury he sustained in his senior season at Northwestern.
