Gas prices spike after Ike

    I'd be willing to pay $6 or more for gas right now. Since we don't, you know, actually have any fucking gas here in Houston. By tomorrow we will be syphoning gas out of my car just to keep running the generator.

    the prices here have corrected themselves.

    they went up three cents on sunday, and came down four cents today.

    Meanwhile, they went up another 20 cents in my neck of the woods overnight.

    They went up 30 cents in my neck of the woods this morning, but by this afternoon, they were back down 20 cents.
