Gas prices spike after Ike

It would have sent my head spinning because I don't have a fantasy football team.

 

Colleague of mine got a call from a friend who works for Kroger -- apparently they were discussing increasing the price by $1 on Thursday. I'm guessing someone remembered Thursday was 9/11 and thought better of it, for that day anyway.

Kentucky's governor ordered a state of emergency Friday, basically putting stations on notice that they'd be investigated if the increases went too far. Prices here are hovering around $4.19.

 

Jesus guys relax. I don't see anyone hammering TSP for starting a K-Rod thread even though there's a baseball thread.

I saw prices ranging from $3.79 to $4.24 today. Fucking assholes.

I saw $3.63 right down the street from $3.99 and $4.09. It's fucking weird.
