He needs 400 more hits, lester, How the fuck do you propose his does that?

150-hit seasons are defintely out of the question.

I think the SNOOZ just likes having a big-name celebrity National Columnist who jets in and out of town like the Freep.

Parker's "local" columns are quite obviously stuff written off press releases and fleshed out with quotes from one or two phone calls, and shipped in from a hotel room somewhere in North America. He hasn't written anything generated from a live event in Detroit in months.

Christ, spnited. I don't give two shits if he does or doesn't, just saying he's a HOF possibility if he stops playing today and that 3,000 hits isn't completely out of the question though I admit it would require quite a push from a guy battling age and injuries. But since he's done a pretty good job of keeping himself in shape over the years and has bounced back from injury in the past, his again becoming a relevant hitter can't be completely ruled out.

Lester, 3,000 IS COMPLETELY OUT OF THE QUESTION!

    You're right. I'm wrong.

    Feel better?

I'm not even going to lie. My hatred of Sheffield is such that I can't even begin to objectively consider his Hall Of Fame legitimacy.

    Deliberate error-making motherfucker.

He's better than some guys who are in, not as good as some who aren't. He's a borderline candidate, who probably doesn't belong, and that's before taking the sterois into account.

    Albert Belle first

Albert Belle gets in the same time Sheffield gets in ... never.
