Dunno if this qualifies as "confirmable" but he apparently has died ...

Some former stars went through stuff and you didn't feel bad about mocking them. I always felt bad for Coleman. That scene when he went on the Surreal Life and stomped away when someone at a restaurant asked him to say "WhatchYou Talking Bout Willis" then he had to go back inside to borrow some cash from Todd Bridges for cab fare might have summed up his post "Strokes" life better than anything.

People can say what they want about TMZ, but they're rarely wrong on stuff like this...

    RIP.

Who had Todd Bridges in the "Which Diff'rent Strokes Kid Lives Longest?" pool? Your winnings are ready.

I sure as hell didn't. I thought he would have been the first to go.

TMZ was on the money. CNN and Fox has now confirmed the news.

I fully agree. He had a great five or six years until he was 16 or 17 and then it all fell apart. He had few friends and was a source of ridicule as people took pieces of him for decades. Feel terrible for what he had to experience. We will probably never know the levels of humiliation he endured -- think how Dirk Diggler lived in the last half of Boogie Nights -- Gary Coleman probably lived that for 20 years.

That being said, considering how the Diff'rent Strokes crew has turned out..even if I'm that red-headed boy named Sam brought in for the last season, I'm probably going to find a doctor and get checked out.
