Hey, how was he to know Veterans Day would fall on November 11th this year?

 

Garfield is clearly an Obama supporter.

 

If I was going to complain every time Garfield wasn't funny, I'd barely have time to get dressed every day.

I remember reading on Slate not that long ago that Gary Trudeau ran into this problem several times with Doonesbury. He did a strip that was condemning of the Bush Administration and I think it ran not long after 9/11.

Trudeau had to explain that he'd produced it weeks before.

Not that Gary Trudeau should have to apologize to anyone. He's pissed off enough people over the last 30 years pretty successfully.

It was the second or third day in a row that the cat had killed spiders.
