Hey, how was he to know Veterans Day would fall on November 11th this year?

Garfield is clearly an Obama supporter. :D

If I was going to complain every time Garfield wasn't funny, I'd barely have time to get dressed every day.

I remember reading on Slate not that long ago that Gary Trudeau ran into this problem several times with Doonesbury. He did a strip that was condemning of the Bush Administration and I think it ran not long after 9/11.

Trudeau had to explain that he'd produced it weeks before.

Not that Gary Trudeau should have to apologize to anyone. He's pissed off enough people over the last 30 years pretty successfully.

"Garfield at Large", by Jim Davis. Now as you can see in this panel, Garfield doesn't care for Nermal. But like him or not, Nermal is here to stay! Or is he? Let's read on.

Fuck Garfield. How that asshole became so popular in the 80s is beyond me. Total dickhead.

I'm the son and brother of a Veteran. I proudly acknowledge Veteran's Day and what it means.
    I read Garfield.
It was the second or third day in a row that the cat had killed spiders.
Poor choice of words, but clearly unintentional and clearly too much being read into it.

But what would the 24-hour news cycle be without DRAMMMMMMMM-uh

Garfield clearly has anger-management issues, not to mention he's a cold-blooded animal killer.
