    Gannett trainwreck is redundant.

    Election Night should be fun.
I figure they'll just have a photo of someone voting and then a blurb telling readers to check the paper's website. No way they will be able to process that much copy on that few printing presses to even get the barest of results.

I think it's charming that so many think that an increase in mistakes and misspellings would somehow be worrisome.

It's just the cost of making money.

And it looks like resumes are flying out the door at USA Today - they just lost another member of their politics team.

And, if readers have a problem with it, they are welcome to speak to a customer relations representative named "George" somewhere in rural India.

Is this new news? I thought Gannett announced that they were doing this a couple of months ago?

Doesn't make it right. Not one bit.

It sounds like typical Gannett to me. To hell with quality if they can save a lot of pennies.

When all you have is managers left - all you do is "manage."

They announced design centers a few months ago, not editing hubs.

Although with Media General and everyone else going to it in the past year or two, I think you're pretty late to the party if you're getting outraged now ...
