Future 3000 hit club

    Not really. I'm just making the point that including him means you must include a dozen others who are around his age and hit totals.

    As for age he was born August 11, 1984. He is 27. Prince Fielder is May 9, 1984, Francouer January 8, 1984, December 23, 1983 and Markakis November 17, 1983. All are currently 27 with Cabrera, Fielder and Francouer all born in 1984.

    Finally, 200+ hits isn't some magical number. Yes he had the most of any of these guys this season but all except Hanley had 170 or more and Hanley is the best BA guy of the bunch.
