Furniture recommendations ...

    I have a ton of IKEA stuff. It's lasted three years and a move without any issues to speak of so far, other than the cushion on the (very inexpensive) sofa is half dead.

    IKEA stuff won't be good if you're hard on your furniture, and I can see where the problems would come if you moved a lot and wanted to disassemble things often. I can also see where kids would be hard on their low-end furniture.

    But if you're pretty easy on things and want a relatively inexpensive piece of furniture that you won't feel guilty about replacing with a nicer piece one day, IKEA definitely has its place.
