Fun Junky Summertime Reality TV Show Recommendation

    BRAVO has scored again with 'Flipping Out,' a show about a house flipper with OCD.

    Anybody catch it? I love it!

    I've seen the commercials. But the one ad I saw put it in with Work Out and Blow Out...and that's just too many outs with too many divas (hi JR!) for me.

    I tried Work Out... meh. This is better.

    Here's what's interesting. The guy deals with millions of dollars. Right now, he owns probably 6 properties worth a total of 15 million. He's fixing those up. But he's not rich - far from it. He only has 125K in the bank. If he doesn't get a sale in 3 weeks, he's bankrupt.

    He just paid 800K for a distressed property by snookering a bank into giving him a loan basically. Now he finds out it needs 65K in septic/other repairs.

    It's very fly-by-the-seat stuff. Plus the OCD stuff gives it a "Monk meets Flip This House" feel.
