If this it true. Wow. Just WOW.
It's no wonder recruiting budgets have topped a million dollars.

I'm really surprised we don't hear more stories like this one after coaches retire. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that all of them believe they might just go back some day and don't want to deal with the potential headaches.

    Tark has no fear.

Don't doubt the story for one minute.

Kentucky got better at it, apparently. Because Jamaal Magloire's first year on campus, he was driving a busted hatchback. The next year? A brand-spanking new Envoy with rims and a really nice sound system.

Nice upgrade for a kid without a job.

Maybe his Envoy was just in the shop and the hatchback was a loner.

I'm surprised Simeon Mars didn't ride on the hood just to wipe off any bugs.

Maybe the hatchback was alone, but might it have been a loaner? ;D ;D

Tark must feel the urge to fire back for all the years he spent running from the NCAA. Takes a cheat to know one, eh?

Kentucky in the 70s and 80s was as dirty as any program has ever been. This story fits right in with countless I've heard off the record about them during that era. They were utterly brazen about it back in those days and the NCAA tried like hell not to see it. It took getting busted red handed with thousands pouring out of an envelope in 88 for the NCAA to finally find the balls to take on big blue.
