    "Friends" is one of the many many teevee shows of which I can happily report I have never in my life seen an entire episode.

    Those characters, fast-forwarded to a time when they weren't searching for love and free to go out every night, would be horrifically uninteresting.

    As would just about any character, and as is just about any real-life person.
