I thought that too. And the options are endless if it is.

I'm thinking The Babies and Bryan Adams are involved...

According to Satchel, both Bryan Adams and Neil Young are out, and the singer in question isn't as famous as those two, so Celine Dion is out too.

Something involving the Barenaked Ladies or the Tragically Hip?

I'd throw Nickelback in there, too, but I don't think so.

Both songs represent each Canadian entity's only hit song, although hit may be a stretch because I can't find any chart info on them. I think they were hits ... both songs live on today for sure.

In any event, both songs were each entity's only song of renown.

No one has been particularly close thus far or else I'd say so.

No, but judging by your looney, i give you a decent shot at getting this.

    Back later...

Men Without Hats - Safety Dance?

And something by Ivan Doroschuk, who went solo in 1997?!

"When I'm With You" by Sheriff

"More Than Words Can Say" by Alias

Both with Freddy Curci as lead singer.

Then again, both were huge chart hits (Sheriff hit No. 1 in Billboard and Alias went to No. 2), so maybe not.

John Waite was the lead singer of the Babys. Bryan Adams was the lead singer of Sweeney Todd (after Nick Gilder split for a solo career).
